DPDP Compliance
The Pathway Institute of Job Skills (TPIJ) is committed to complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), India’s landmark legislation governing the processing of personal data. This page explains how we uphold your rights under the DPDP and the measures we have implemented to ensure lawful, transparent, and secure handling of your information.
Scope and Applicability
The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. While TPIJ does not maintain a user registration system or store personal data in a structured database, we may collect limited, non-identifiable data through website analytics tools, cookies, and server logs for operational and security purposes. This data is processed solely to improve website functionality, ensure security, and deliver content relevant to our vocational training services in India.
Your Rights Under DPDP
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:
- Right to access your digital personal data processed by us
- Right to request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to request deletion of your personal data
- Right to withdraw consent where applicable
- Right to nominate a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity
Please note: Since we do not collect or store personal data for identification or profiling purposes, most of these rights may not be applicable in practice. However, we honor all legitimate requests in good faith.
How We Comply
TPIJ complies with the DPDP by:
- Minimizing data collection to only what is necessary for website operation
- Not collecting sensitive personal data or biometric information
- Using only anonymized or aggregated data for analytics
- Ensuring third-party tools (e.g., Google Analytics) comply with Indian data protection standards
- Implementing reasonable security safeguards to prevent unauthorized access
Data We Process
Any data we process is limited to:
- IP addresses (anonymized)
- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited and time spent on site
- Cookie identifiers (for session management only)
No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or government identifiers are collected, stored, or processed.
Legal Basis for Processing
Our processing of limited website data is based on:
- Legitimate interest — to ensure website functionality, security, and performance
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable Indian laws, including the DPDP
We do not rely on consent for this limited data processing, as it is not used for profiling, marketing, or identification.

No Discrimination Policy
TPIJ will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service to you because you exercised your rights under the DPDP. Your rights are protected and respected without penalty.
